Now there is the big difference between the PS3 and the 360. The 360 has no games, so you end up playing the same sh!t year after year. The PS3 has a new shooter out on average every 6 months. Whereas the 360 has about 1 every 1-2 years (at least it will be 2 years between Gears 2 and Halo 5).
Heavy Rain is #1 in the UK. It also was top of the Amazon charts. I wouldn't be surprised if it outsold ME2.

GT5 will have diminishing returns? The profit from the demo (prologue) has covered all the development costs. The full release will be pure profit for Sony/PD. Whereas compared to previous installments the retail version had to cover development costs. So the returns will be enhanced relative to previous titles in the franchise.

You can get a decent HD tv for $800 but the console will be a few hundred more.
Venatus one thing you don't consider is the savings PC gamers get. Every new game, day one, is at least $10 cheaper for the PC version than the console version. Not paying $50 a year for live adds up too. Consider, you buy 5 games a year that is a $100 savings every year. So every 2 years you could upgrade your graphics card to the newest midrange card, and not even that if you're savy (my 5770 cost me $130 for an open boxed one).

The real question is will the 360 sell enough to have justified the port? If it doesn't I think square may just drop the 360 altogether since they know the PS3 is the go to for sales.

This is much better than the weak ass ME2 sex scenes where the most realistic it gets is a woman taking off her shirt to reveal a bra. It's not all about seeing nude chicks but if you are going to do a sex scene at least have the characters take off their clothes. Who has sex with their clothes all the way on?

Everyone knows the demographics for both consoles: 360 (high school kid who can't get a girl and resorts to constant jerking off) vs PS3 (Adult most of which should be in a relationship of some sort although there are probably some jerk offs that could never muster the courage to ask a woman out).
